While meditating recently, I had a beautiful vision of my heart growing to the size of my room, then the city, and eventually the world. As if it were all-encompassing and everywhere. As if god, love, our hearts, and everything is interconnected in such a beautiful way.
So I'm asking your opinion with respect to religion and spirituality. How does reading this make you feel, with respect to your personal religion, or lack thereof?

I think your idea is unoriginal. This is a concept being placed by eastern religions for a long time. It doesn't actually make sense. How could everything be god, or even a god? The very definition excludes the possibility. It's because Eastern logic is different than Western logic. Western logic uses either/or premises, while Eastern logic uses both/and premises. Quite interesting.

I thought it was an enviable experience... I wish i was more the spiritual type so i could have visions like that... it's not easy to be in such a peaceful and loving state... do you have a specific religion? in any case, it's a wonderful thing... how do you meditate? i could use some pointers because i never can get relaxed enough... i am presbyterian, but i think meditation is a great practice in any religion... the world needs to release more stress that way instead of through violent or unkind methods...

I had this experience a couple of days ago. First let me tell you I have been connecting with my angels.I have a book on cd called angel therapy(I love it)
1st experience: I was living in Los Angeles living alone and my career as a make up artist was coming to an end.I was at this party in Silverlake and felt no connection to anyone...not even the friends I thought were my friends. So I left the party feeling alone. As I'm walking to my car I say to myself"what do I do" out loud"WHAT DO I DO" I look up and see this big huge bulletin and it say"COME HOME" in big letters(it was the Disneyland sign) so the next day I decided to move back home to my parents house !!!!!
I believe there are signs all over the place if you pay attention to things.Trust me you will see these signs

Wow! I envy you. I hope to experience this with meditation someday. I totally believe that we are all interconnected and that separation is simply an illusion of the physical dimension we've chosen to experience. Once in a while we get glimpses of the truth of our spirituality, our divinity. You are blessed to have had that experience.

You are not the only one. In my religion there are many saints who feel this. Sometimes I feel also that I love everyone, but this is not for a long time. It's a nice feeling and I hope you will have it for a long time.

I am an ecletic Pagan and I think it is a beautiful vision. Perhaps illustrating the fact that all there is, is love. Love creates (and destroys) all things. And we are all connected.

You should stop doing shrooms. Your hippy visions make me want to puke.
