Define clever...IQ, academic, intellect and so on?
I have to say I've been out with guys that I don't consider clever but were very good looking, they never lasted long. My husband is clever and we are best friends as well as we can talk about anything. The only downside would be if he was too clever. If a guy is cleverer than I am I always feel that I've got to prove myself to him.

sorry but are u serious?!just like any other everyday relationship with another human being , u need some1 with a little sense!makes conversations much better and when all the first tingle of getting to know each other passes by,at least she.ll have something to stay for..a decent grown up conversation..being clever and witty as well as funny is a definite plus!

No we scare them as we know what they are upyto.
However as with all men present us with a naked woman and we transfer all our cleverness to our W*llies and become thick and give them whatever they ask for.
Got to go my wife is naked and wants to look at sports car brochures right now. No way is she getting one though.....

YES!!! clever men are so funny cus they make you see a hole other side of a story that isn't even true or is true but SOOO out there, lol, like take Johny Dep for instant, in the Pirats of the Caribean, all the girls love him, i know i do, and the only reason i love him so much is cuas its hilaarius to wach wat he comes up with and how he acts, he is so sly he could talk himself out of anything, or into anything, if you know wat i mean
