People keep answering questions about the bible or other things related to it without actually doing ANY research at all. Claiming all sorts of nonsense about how people thought back then to everything else. Why don't people do more research before making **** up and passing it off as truth?

Randy, I am willing to put money down that every atheist on here knows more about the bible than you do.

Atheist here

What I talk about is the fact that the belief of others and books written by believers is not evidence of a higher power.

I don't quote the bible because it is a book written by believers for believers.

No matter how much you study
No matter how much you claim to know
(you don't know, you just believe you know)

At the end of the day all you have is belief
and that's not enough for an atheist.

Atheism is organized but not recognized as a religion by the U.S. government. I wouldn't want it to be.

I've noticed that believers say "You'v got to have faith" I never hear them say "You've got to have facts"

Also the burden f proof falls on the claimant. The personmaking the claim is the believer. Thay claim there is a higher power. When you ask for evidence they give you two things. Faith anda book that was written 2000 years ago by the equivalent of cave men by todays standards of knowledge.

How do you disprove the unprovable, isthe problem atheists face.

why do we care? When the united states government calls for the complete seperation of church and state, including the loophole that says endorsing a generic god is different than endorsing a religion, we will shutup.

There is no difference, one does not exist without the other.

The christians force their faith into laws

Atheists prefer facts

I've read the bible, have you read about atheism?

The Bible was originally written by Shaka Zulu. The first people who believed in the Bible were the Mongolians. Back then, people thought that palm trees were actually frozen angels and that you could communicate with the dead by yelling really loud with your head in salt water.

People back then used to think that you should eat a page from the Bible every day to keep away vampires. Jesus was really from The Faeroe Islands and used to play the balalaika. He wasn't really crucified; in fact he lived to a very old age, married Mary Queen of Scots and fathered over eighty children, whose descendents settled on Pitcairn Island and can be found there today.

How many people ask questions without knowing what they are really talking about?

People have been given a platform to "speak" and have people "listen" to them. Unfortunately, the relative anonymity of this place entices the ignorant dolts of society to speak up and voice their opinions or ask questions.

In the real world, you would likely see them as people who aren't nearly as vocal as they seem to be on here. In life, they wouldn't be able to think quickly enough to defend their claims and have been trained by society to keep their ignorant claims and idiotic musings to themselves.

Anonymity does wonders for bringing out ignorance!

Research a fairy tale? The greatest story ever told is just a story. So if I'm going to research that one, I'll probably research Mother Goose too.

Nothing on this site can be taken as "TRUTH". Everything is conjecture and opinion. Don't believe anything you read on here as the truth. If you want the truth you have to do your own research. There are as many "truths" as there are people to believe them.

Most of the answers I write I have some type of personal or professional experience. If I have no experience I usually skip them.
