Yes, He was hung on the cross, died, burried in a tomb and rose the third day.

The Bible is a collection of mythes initially preserved orally by desert people of the Middle East. These are people who didn't know that the earth was round, that the earth is a planet that orbits the sun, or even that China, much less anything in the Western Hemisphere, existed. The stories in the Bible reveal the sheer misinformation and general lack of knowledge that these people had. Later, once the bible was written down, it was repeatedly censored and rewritten by pretty much every authority that wanted it to conform to his opinions.
As there is no credible evidence to prove the historical existence of Jesus, then it is highly improbable that he died, much less resurrected.

This is what the Bible says. See John 20:1. the first day of the Jewish week is Sunday. Jesus was crucified on Friday. Counting Friday, Saturday and Sunday, we come up with three days. Never mind the hours in a day. According to Jewish reckoning on the calender a day is a day, not a partial day, when counting days. Jesus loves you.

You see an empty tomb, don't you? But no, that is not what the bible says. It says He would die and be in the depth of the Earth for three days. It began on Thursday evening at the time Jesus was betrayed and Sunday morning was the third day, the time when He arose.

The Bible says He arose 'ON the third day.
Day one: Crucified, died, buried.
Day two: The Sabbath. A day of Rest.
Day three: On THIS day He arose in Glory.
Satan only wishes Jesus hadn't died. Then He never would have Risen, and Satan could still be in charge.

Jesus did die on the cross and was resurrected three (nights) and days later. In Genesis 1, night was 'darkness', day was light. The sun, moon, and stars were not created until day 4. When Jesus died on the cross, it was dark, roughly noon until about three PM; I seem to recall one reference currently call's it an eclipse. Dusk was later; probably about 6:PM. Jesus was resurrected about dawn 6:00 AM the first day of the week. So Jesus did meet the three days and three nights criteria; because day & night in the Jewish method of 'keeping time' was not 24 hours.

YES!!!!!
-----------JESUS'S DEATH------------
***JESUS DIED WEDNESDAY APRIL 14, 31AD
A good foundation (1Tim.6:19) has solid ground evidence. The foundation should include 2Tim.3:16; Isaiah 28:9-10; 2Peter 1:19-21; 1Thess.5:20-21 & Ephes.5:9-10,13. To understand deeply--you must use these websites:

If you read Daniel 9:27; it says "he died in the middle of the week"; that would be Wednesday. This is followed by "3 days & 3 nights" = Matthew 12:40 which equals 1-24hr.day x 3days equals 72hrs. in grave. Next the Bible tells us it would be "after 3days and "not before = Matt.27:63-64 and Mark 8:31. It tells us in three days (John 2:19-21) and not after. The Bible also reminds us a day is 12hrs. not including the night(John 11:9-10). Remember also Gen.1:5 and Lev.23:32 tells us "evening to evening" is considered to be a day.

Now I know this is true because the MAJORITY(Matt.7:13) is always wrong. Also there's many clues that it wasn't a Friday crucifixion and a Sunday resurrection; look at 2Tim.2:18. But you will point out Mark 16:9 which says "Now when Jesus was risen[the perfect tense is correct here--he was already risen] early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene." Now the original Greek didn't have no punctuation. If the King James translators put a comma after the word "risen" and not after "week", this would make complete sense. The Centenary Translation renders it this way: "Now after his resurrection, early on the first day of the week he appeared first to Mary Magdalene."

Yes, but most of the time people try to say that is untrue, because they don't know the time sequence of the New Testament. For the Jews the day began at evening( I think around dusk) So, morning for us would really be evening for them. (Do you get what I am saying?) So, people don't do their math right. Also, Jesus said, "I will resurrect this temple in 3 days."- he wasn't talking about the temple at Jerusalem- he was talking about his body!
