I don't think it is bad..but you must be careful. If you do like someone from online and you want to meet him/her, then you should meet in the daytime in a public place. Also, have your friend on call should you get uncomfortable. Or better yet, meet him/her with a friend. If you actually start to like the person..it is also better to meet the person sooner than later..or there will be too high of expectations that neither of you can meet.

Hey sweety... let me tell you about this... online dating... I think is wonderful, I think u might have a chance to scrutinize in a much deeper level who would u be going out with... now u r not limited to date whoever crosses ur path, but whoever is out there... that is perfect for u... now it takes some mastering sometimes.... meeting 4 the 1st time brings a lot of insecurities... but talk about lil nick names or inside jokes to re-spark the conversation that kept u both intrested online... hum... also if u looking for a smart, totally differrent kinda dude... gotta take advantage of the tip.... u should gimme some pay back by having a conversation with me... hope u recognize the smoothness and holler at me if u want ... well babe... have greatone..

Bad? Not nessisarily, but be cautous about how quickly you proceed and what you actually know about someone from your own experiene. Never trust a person soley on what they tell you. Talk to other people, and discover for yourself. Never commit to anythng until you are ready, and remember meeting on the net is easy so if one does not suit your IRL needs move on to the next one quickly and decicively.

I wud say it is ok cuz ure only judging the person by their personali ty that comes thru their words. Be careful tho, there are sickos out here that cud exploit ppl especially young teens male and female.

No, I think that it is risky but it also allows you to get to "know" that person on levels that most people do not get to know one another. Provided that you two are honest and open with one another and that is normally easier when you are not sitting face to face. You like his personality. That is fine, just be careful.
