I am starting a business in New York. I have some questions on Sales Tax. I need to know what forms with the state, county, town, feds that I need to fill out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The best routes to take are to research the process of starting a business as well as the industry you're interested in.

I posted links for you in the source box pertaining to starting a business in New York.

Research, research, research – this cannot be stressed enough. Read as much as you can. Here are some book titles that are relevant:

* How to Start a Business in New York by Paul W. Barnard, Mark Warda

Hope that helps! I wish you much success & happiness in all your ventures!

Call NYS Sales tax they'll tell you everything you need to know and where to get the forms to apply for a NY sales tax ID number.
Almost any accountant, or your county seat, can help with all you applications.
Good Luck.

New York allows you to register online as a sales tax vendor. The web address is:

I am assuming that you have already made sure that you need to collect sales tax in the first place. That's an entirely different question.
