If you weren't so worried about fullfilling prophecy, would you even care about what was happening in Isreal right now? Don't you see the idiocy in trying to fullfill a negative prophecy? I am really curious about this. Wouldn't Christ be trying to find a peacefull solution, or did I totally misread his teachings? War is not the answer, it doesn't even make a good temporary solution.

Maybe I should clarify, I am not attacking Christianity, I am just questioning the motives of some Christians... sorry for the generalization.

I a Christian am not obsessed with World War 3, weather it comes to be or not come to be is up to us as the responsible family of man.
My only real obligation in this existence is to do the best I can with all that God gives me. I hope, pray and do everything within my power to preserve peace and good will to all men. I don't worry about death...because I can't do a thing about it period. The prophesy may or may not come true. But I'll just continue to do my best in the name of God that I can and so should you.

'My Peace I Give To You'...my family of man.

Sadly, there is always going to be war or wars of some sort. We only hear of the Israeli-Lebanon conflict but right now there dozens mini-wars going on in the world. Ever since history began there were wars. But God had nothing to do with wars. Wars are started by people. Wars do not solve anything other than get a lot of innocent people killed. It's a hormonal thing in men who crave for power, competition and recognition - the macho thing to do. I truly believe that we will have less wars if the countries' leadership are run by women. Men tend to solve problems by fighting. Women are more apt to talk things over and reason out. But with men running the world, that will never happen.

For those that take the bible in the most literal sense this is what they have been saying is going to happen and have been waiting for with bated breath. In a lot of ways I find this no different than Nostradamus. You would think it would be to everyone's advantage to solve disputes peacefully - hate only breeds hate. The more fighting is endorsed, the more reason to fight - they then fulfill the reason and find something new to fight about - a never ending vicious circle.

The Christian Bible contains lots of violence. Some of it imposed by "God" to test Christians. It does seem like total hypocrisy. In Revelations, the world comes to a violent end. The Bible does not say that war is wrong, and actually encourages Christians to fight for their belief. But yet, it also states the meek shall inherit the Earth. What is one to think?

I'm sorry, what is WWIII?
I am a Christian, but I'm not familiar with that term.

this is what I know, Christ taught us to love others as we love ourselves. He even teach us to love our enemies, instead of hating them.

He didn't died for us on the cross because He was looking for sensations what-so-ever. God died for us because He wants to show us how to love, for humans didn't know how to love with an unconditional love. we're just so good at hating each other. This is what I believe, Jesus died for us to redeem our sins. It should have been us crucified on that cross, but He loves us too much that He's willing to replace us, so that we're saved..!!!

I don't see what's the connection between Christianity and Israeli's little war in the Middle-East. Israels are Jews, not Christians, right?

I doubt that what is happening is fulfilling any prophecy, it is the combination of a arrogant wimp mouthpiece of a President, back by big business and a country established because of collective guilt over allowing Hitler's madness to commit unspeakable crimes against these people.
Empowered and backed by the US and a few other countries Israel is not fulfilling prophesy, its fulfilling its own hatred of the Muslim world.

i think that many Christians are passionate approximately homosexuality, as a results of fact it includes thoughts that maximum have had at some point of their progression and it rather marks people who're "distinctive". they do no longer cry approximately the different issues as a results of fact they have a distorted view of deviance, Crime in society, environmental destruction, corruption, and poverty lack a similar sense of intimacy and innate and unchangeable nature. they look harder to become conscious of and whilst pointed out less difficult to isolate and punish. Christians can push aside their duty for the evil interior the international and harp with regard to the immorality of sexual orientation rather stereotyped and condemned.

How sick do you have to be to subscribe to any religion that has the destruction of the world as it's ultimate goal? I worry that they will be successful in self-fulfilling their silly prophecy and for that reason, no religion should EVER be allowed to have their own state, let alone nuclear weapons.

Christianity? Jesus? Dying?

What is the Imacculate Conception supposed to mean?

(NOT A VIRGIN BIRTH! - Google Imacculate Conception. What else do you falsely believe? )

Jesus, the basis of Christianity? .

If Jesus died, he could NOT have been God.

Gods do not die? Do they?

If Jesus 'died' on Friday and 'undied' on Sunday, what else besides Saturday was sacrificed?

Did Jesus give up Saturday for us? Big deal!

If Jesus died for our sins, there should not be any more sins, else why go through with it?.

If Jesus really DIED, he should be dead, dead, dead!

If you swallow this stuff, you are not going to like the folks who don't. You want them to swallow it too.

Christians want everyone to convert to their non-thinking in order to be 'saved'.

Believing and not thinking is like choosing a mental illness and becoming lost.

What is a Christian Principle?
