I wouldn't necessarily worry, but don't expect to just fit right in. Just be yourself & you will find friends that don't worry about the age difference. Don't let them push you into things you aren't ready for. Just remember to stay true to yourself & keep your head up. Some people may pick on you because you are younger than everyone else & some may pick on you because you are intelligent. Just remember, people judge things they don't understand. Also remember that just because you are smarter sooner than other people doesn't make you any better than anyone else, so try not to get a big head about things either. You'll have to find a good balance.

If I were you, I wouldn't let the new friends you meet at this school know your age - it could cramp your style, and might provoke giggling, etc. I wouldn't let them know I skipped two grades, either. If you do look A LOT younger than them, you could say you were skipped ONCE.

I wouldn't worry about the school work - if you're smart enough to skip two grades, you'll make it - as long as you continue doing your work. Good luck.

You skipped to grades.... I would worry more about "to, too, and two" before worrying about being young in a private high school. If you are two years younger... then if you get teased, the easiest comeback is that you are two years younger... use it to your advantage. and for the record, congrats, your doing something every kid should be proud of, not scared of.

You shouldn't be worried based on age...it's maturity or lack thereof that will determine how well you fit in with your new peers. It's often not age, but differences in interests or in appearance that distinguish the popular kids from everyone else.

Think for yourself. Make your own decisions. And don't let anyone tell you that you're not good enough.

Nah, you should be proud. It might be a little weird at first, but if it doesn't bother you, then it will be hard for other people to let it bother them. Just relax and have a good time while it lasts.
