some chihuahuas are cute but i think most of them look like vampire bats. i have a friend who has a chihuahua named Belle and they call her "Bitty" for short. every time i go over to their house they always talk about how cute she is! it gets on my nerves bigtime. then wenever they see my new puppy they always make fun of him and say he is ugly. he is byfar the cutest puppy i've ever seen. i mean if he was ugly i more than likely wouldn't have gotten him! i just think chihuahuas are stuck-up little spoiled dogs.

Most people don't like them - the can be yappy, obnoxious spoiled little ankle-biters! They have recently become popular with kids, because celebrities like Paris Hilton are seen carrying them around.

I think some Chihuahuas are ugly but a lot of them are cute. I never thought of myself as a Chihuahua person but living in a small apartment in the city I chose to get one last October. Best move I ever made. I'm sorry but I'll have to beg to differ and say MY puppy is the cutest puppy in the world. ;) I have pics of her on my webpage if you would like to see her. She is not like the typical Chi, she has never barked and she is not mean. She is always happy to see other people, but I think that is because I take her everywhere and socialize her. I try not to go on and on about my Chi unless people want to hear it. I know to most people she is just a dog and not a great conversation topic, but my fiance and I adore her. =)

I own two chihuahuas and think they are adroable to me, and yes, some of them can resemble a bat. But, I had seen dozens of adorble looking dogs of different breeds. "My" preference are chihuahuas. I'm sure your dog is cute. What kind is it? Besides, pets are often part of ones family. Haven't you ever known a parent say Isn't he/she just the cutest thing you've ever seen when in truth they look like someone beat them with an ugly stick? It all depends on the eye of the beholder.

I ADORE my baby chihuahua Lacey- but I understand how annoying it gets when people keep talking about how "wonderful" and "cute" their dogs are. But really- C'mon just because they said your puppy is ugly doesn't mean you should take it out on all chihuahuas by saying they are stuck-up little spoiled dogs. I guarantee that if you met my Lacey, you'd fall in love with her. And I'm sure your new little puppy is adorable! :)

I don't know!! I don't. They're the most obnoxious breed of dogs. I think people like Paris Hilton started the whole obsession.

well i for one do not like ankle biters so not everyone likes them i think they should all be put on a boat and then they should take the boat to the middle of the ocean and ancor it there and leave them with a large amount of dog food and water and wait for them to kill each other off
