Probably locked in a filing cabinet in a basement toilet with no lights - or stairs - with a sign on the door saying beware of the leopard.
That's where I always find mine.

The key to this scenario is - Don't panic, give it 10 mins to cool down & think logically & calmly...now where did you go? What rooms? places? Where would you normally keep them? Check there first and go through all the areas you have been & search methodically in a relaxed manner.
Still no joy? Then do this, a old boss told me when you lose something you should pray sincerely to St Anthony (he is the patron saint for lost articles) even if you are not christian/catholic - it will work if you believe. The best advice that old fart ever gave me & it works everytime!
Good luck with that.

Go back to where you was ten minutes ago and search everywhere that you went. Check your back pocket if you have one, or in your draw.
