Do you mean what if we are making the "real God" angry every time we worship the "wrong God"?

Pretty much every religion I know about (besides Christianity) teaches that God requires living a good life for Salvation. In Christianity it is not our works that save us--but works and good living are evidence of a changed life. So if we are living by are faith and living good lives, we will "get in" by all standards of pretty much every other religion. (I have a very personal relationship with God and no doubt that He is actually the Only one, but I can play your game,)

Robert Schuller, the head pastor of the Crystal Cathedral, was one asked a similar question -- at least one that elicits a similar answer. He was asked what he'd say if, five minutes before he died, he found out there was no God and no hope of salvation through Jesus Christ.

He said he would praise God anyway, and so do I! I will have lived a far better life, a far more helpful life, a far more loving life, and a far more influential life to those around me, than I would have without living it for God.

I appreciate this question, and I don't view it as hostile like some Christians expect. In our hearts, we know Jesus is THE way, the truth, and the life (John 15:6) and that no one comes to the Father but by Him, but that doesn't always make sense in our heads (brains). That's why the Holy Spriit is sent to dwell in our hearts, and through Him God and His Son operate without our self-doubt getting in the way.

I don't wish to risk my eternal nourishment by becoming a Christian and forsaking the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Why would anyone else, even a Christian?

This line of reasoning was originally formulated by a Pastafarian brother by the name of Albert Liebowicz. He calls it Pasta Al's Wager. Forsaking Pastafarianism for Christianity makes no sense because if you're right, you gain nothing, but if you're wrong, you miss out on a lot of delicious pasta because you're no longer touched by his noodly appendage.

Like similar formulations written up in the context of other religions, Pasta Al's Wager assumes that if religion is correct to any degree, Pastafarianism must be the correct religion. Besides, all those other religions are nutty compared the the One True Faith. (Notice how the other guys are the slightly pejorative "religion" while the good guys are a happy "faith." This sort of subtle wordplay is important, because I said so.)

I hope that's sarcasm, X&Y.
Don't think you're the first person to wonder... I hold the belief that no religion is truly right, since the majority of them believe that ONLY they are right, and that never bodes well with any organization or person, so why should it be different for religion?

Ahh and look at all the answers you've accumulated in the time it took me to answer. Someone up there said (sorry I can't remember) that Christians will still live joyful lives. I must say, I hope so. I think the only time religion is right is when it compells someone to do good in their life and be happy, and not when it forces them to codemn others. In that sense, religion is good. Some people function better with it. I'm not saying it's a crutch, just a way of life, like art is to me, so no fire-and-brimstone flames for me, please.

I do not particularly agree with christian beliefs, but I don`t think anything really makes god angry. God is in everything. Truly a real god would not care weather or not we worship him/her/it, I think god dosen`t really want to be warship ed at all. The ultimate spirtual accomplishment might be able to walk along side god as an equal. But that just might be a step towards something for more grand.

Yahshua the Messiah said in Mat 15:9 in vain they do worship me teaching for doctrine the commandments (traditions) of men (Christmas Easter and such) Come to the complete knowledge of Truth by seeking Yahweh (see tetragrammaton) your heavenly Father. John 4:22 you know not what you worship for salvation is from the Yahdiam. How can anyone worship a no name god and not the heavenly Father who gave us his name. If we don't use it then we certainly or not worshiping him

Dear, there is not such thing as a "wrong" God. We are all worshipping the same God who made Heaven and Earth. In humanities, there is such a thing as a "divine entity" and if we are all worshipping that essence of goodness - I don't think being a christian or muslim or hindu or baptist would matter to God since its only people who put labels on themselves.

i have asked my self "What if we are worshiping the wrong God?" when i was younger and had a discussion with my friends and family about it... my mother told me that you have to have faith... i believe that we are (in the Christian religion) worshiping the right God because my grandfather who was a preacher passed away 2 years ago and when i pray it seems that in some way (big or small) it is answered, but you still have those thoughts in the back of your head... i think it is a way of the Devil trying to take over your mind and see if you will go with what he is making you think just so he can claim another soul to Hell...
You just have to have faith in what you believe in and trust the word of God...

Hmm....I'm not Christian but yeah that would suck a lot. I think that going to church or any place of worship is all about having faith. You are correct, how do we know that we are correct? We don't know. I am muslim and I will see how everything turns out in judgment day. I want to ask him why people don't end up with the people they love. I want to know why you can't get what you want. I want to know why people lie and cheat. I guess I'll find this out someday.

Christians are so wrong, it is hard to know where to start.
If there is a god, she/it/he can't possibly recognize most churches as something of honor . Mostly it is screaming for money to buy bigger doghouses for the minister's mistress. Or to buy silence for raped little boys. Or to pay missionaries to go to poor countries and give food in exchange for learning a fairy tale.
A god that I could believe in would leave people alone, help them to use their brains, and good ideas to better themselves and the world.
That god would tell them the truth --in no uncertain terms- with witnesses-in plain language- and not in some old book rewritten by people that can be twisted and interpreted to suit evil purpose. My god would want me to use my brain and body, not punish me for knowing I have it and using it.
My god would have by now told us all what life is for, and what death is about, and not kept us powerless stupidity and fear for centuries.
My god would not need my worship, thanks, or money. It would know.
