Would we all have to wear pilgrim outfit too? A scarlet letter would be ok, a big fat "I" for Immigrant on the person's forehead sounds great don't it? How about NON-MEXICAN illegals? Say an Argie is in the US illegally, yet he's blonde and blue-eyed, would he also be inconvenienced??

Rednecks are soooo racist cause their parents are soooo dumb!!! And the worst thing is they spawn more idiots. Too bad.

Well, your question is pretty vague. I mean, what kind of "inconvenience" are you talking about?

Taking it at face value, my answer is: No more so than I would support a program that would "inconvenience" ANY legal citizen of the U.S.

Also, please remember that Mexicans are not the only "illegals" in the U.S. Believe it or not, there are many from Europe, Africa, Asia, etc. You see more people trying to migrate from Mexico and South America, etc. because of socio-political problems and, of course, geographic location. And although there are some people taking advantage of the system (illegals AND legals), most of the jobs that illegal immigrants are "taking" you probably would not want.

I need more specifics before I cans say yes or no.
What I would rather see, is a program that makes it inconvenient for employers to hire illegal immigrants.
I think that politicians are trying to work this issue backwards.
We are trying to sweep the dirt back through the open door.
If there were no jobs available to illegal immigrants THEY WOULDN'T COME HERE ILLEGALLY!
Punish the heck out of the greedy idiots who are participating in illegal hiring practices in order to line their own pockets.
They are the traitors who are causing the problem to begin with. If they were forced to pay fair wages to legal employees, there would be no jobs available for immigrants to "steal".
A person who, in their own country, feels unable to provide for themselves or their family, and decides that they must support themselves or their families, by any means necessary, is human.
As long as the opportunity is here, people will find a way to get here. It won't matter how big the fence is, how many border guards we buy.

Yes, it might be 'inconvenient' to have to cough up documentation to prove you're legal but in the long run that is how we determine the difference between 'legal' and 'illegal'. To bad, but that IS the LAW.

We have to stop and wait in line to find our license and proof of car insurance to show the State Patrol at license checks. It's inconvenient, but we have to do it in order for them to catch those driving without license or insurance

Yes, just as I don't mind the inconvenience to me at a road block to find drunk drivers. Get the drunks off the road, get the illegals out of the country!

No, would you support a program that created inconveniences for you if it help catch pick pocketers. How would you feel if daily you were subjected to body searches.

Well, that depends on what you mean by inconvenience. As a general rule, I would say no. However, if you just mean producing valid ID to drive, work, etc., I have no problem.
