If you are a student you can purchase the Academic version.
If not, try a Microsoft Office alternative like Open Office:
http://www.openoffice.org/
or Star Office:
http://www.sun.com/software/star/staroffice/index.jsp
Open Office is free, and I believe Star Office sells for about $70.

Try this one. Free, alternative to Microsoft office. Dont compare both directly. I wont suggest you to use Microsoft office illegally, instead download this free software by following this link.

Look for Microsoft Works. It's a lot cheaper and has most of the features. Look in Wal Mart or some such.
