the cats are looked after very well they each have there own dish and there own bed she has an entire room devoted to cat food they re trained to go out side in a certain area in the far back of the yard where there is no grass unfortuneatley the spot is right next to my yard, She adds amixture of soil and kitty litter every once and a while so it is clean It just smells and if i called her in i would be afraid she'd commit suicide cause the cats are her life.

Most supply companies and farm stores have a product called "Odo-Ban" you just spray it around everywhere and it kills the stink for about a week. If they won't do this then you have to report them because it's a major health hazard as it is. How nice they are has to take a back seat to that, ESPECIALLY if you have children.

I hope you are exaggerating on the amount of cats they have at their house. Not only would that be unsanitary because it would take a crew to keep the litter boxes changed, but it's not healthy for the humans or the cats. It's probably illegal as well. If you don't live in the country, there are usually ordinances about how many pets are allowed in one building unless they are licensed.

Do them and the cats a favor and report them. You might not even have to give your name.

Get going and good luck!

Unless your neighbor lives on a rather large farm/ranch 120 cats is too many - legally most cities limit the number to 1 to 3 cats.

If you are getting an odor from next door that is clearly cat related then the cats are living in an unhealthy enviroment and even though you might hate to do it, call them in. It will be better for your neighbor and for their cats.

Think about it this way - if you saw your neighbor abusing their child would you call them in? It sounds like they are abusing these animals.. do the right thing even though it's the hard thing. Call them in and hope for the best.

Like a good neighbor, REPORT THEM!

120 cats is alot of kitty-poop, fleas and DISEASE! Even on alot of acreage this is way too many cats. I once had 8 cats and THAT was too many and I eventually found them good homes.

Unless these cats have ALL been vaccinated, your neighbors are doing serious injustice by risking these kitties lives to disease. Feline Leukemia can be transmitted very easily and it's not very pretty to see a poor little kitty die of this terrible disease.

You must report them. There is no way that someone can have that many cats and care for them all and keep them healthy. If they were well cared for and healthy, you wouldn't have the odor. They don't need to know who reported them, but it must be done. Cat collecting is a mental illness, and odds are, they are also not taking proper care of themselves. Call your local animal control agency NOW

I agree with the first answer. If your neighbor really has 120 cats, there is no way they are being taken care of properly. You really do need to call the humane society.

120 cats in one location is not healthy at all. You SHOULD report them. The cats are probably not being taken care of, the are probably not getting fed and they probably are not getting the medical attention that they need.

Call the humane society!

Something like this happened in my hometown and people in the neighborhood actually started getting sick because nobody wanted to report the nice people...my aunt and uncle had to spend alot of money getting the smell out of their home because it seeped into the wood...I'd report them.

try baking soda in your yard. odo-ban works well too. and just tell your neighbors your concerns. if they are nice people, they will understand. You might also want to get an ion air purifier. It will help clean your air and rid the smell inside your house (if it stinks that bad )

I've heard of homes that had to be torn down because of too many cats. I think you should move....
