I am getting married in December and we want to surprise everybody by taking dance lessons and dance to Jingle Bell Rock, or Rockin Around the Christmas Tree. What style of dance would that be??

I agree. Jive would set it off.

Some sort of swing would do great for "Jingle Bell Rock". You might even be able to get away with Texas Two-Step if you've got anyone in your area who can teach that (it's pretty much just a modified basic swing).

And not that you asked my opinion on this, but I prefer "Jingle Bell Rock" as a song. ;)

Swing! My son, whilst he replace into 8 years previous performed a ordinary along with his spouse to Rockin' around the Christmas Tree at chum & Laurie Schwimmer's 5-6-7-8 Christmas Gala held in Redlands, CA. They did a blend east coast/west coast swing and it replace into somewhat neat! you're able to do swing to the two of those songs.

Swing dancing! Maybe some jive or jitterbug. I've heard the quickstep is hard, but that would be adorable! What a fabulous idea!!
