If you mean the theme park, Disneyland, you will want to live in North Orange County or South LA County like Anaheim, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Cerritos, Bellflower.
As a former castmember, you won't be able to live in an apartment by working just at Disneyland. Their pay isn't very good and some positions are seasonal, so your hours can vary from 8 hours per week to 30 hours to 40 hours per week. During the peak tourist season you can get overtime if lucky. Sometimes the theme park operations will make 6 day mandatory, meaning you don't get 2 days off, just 1.
Check disneycareers.com and see what's there. If you want to live in a decent part of town (places closer to Disneyland in Anaheim is NOT decent!) you should try to bring home a minimum $25,000 a year if you want to afford an apartment, with car and insurance... not to mention food.
Now, if you want a professional job at the studios, Burbank is the place to live. The jobs there aren't stable if you are in the creative part... as layoffs are common.

If you're moving here, get ready for headaches from all the traffic that happens all the time. If you move to Burbank, the 5 freeway would prob. be the one you'll use most and that one is always filled with cars. However, you could take the bus if you don't mind it. Besides the overflow of cars (exists everywhere in LA), Burbank is a nice place to live. I'd chose Glendale or Los Feliz over it though.

Disney Studios or Disneyland?
If it's the studios, they are located in Burbank. which is a good spot to live. You can also look at nearby spots like Glendale, Toluca Lake, Studio City, North Hollywood, Valley Village, and maybe Silver Lake although that's getting a bit far.
I'd say stay away from the west side (hollywood, santa monica) because your commute would be awful.

Southern California, as a whole, is very very expensive. If you want to work at Disneyland, you'll want to live in either Anaheim or Orange, CA.
