How did you meet your current boyfriend or husband?

His sister came up to me in a nail salon and said I'd be perfect for him. She insisted I take his email address and the next day I wrote to him. He wrote back and a week later we met. A month later we went shopping for wedding rings. 3 months after that he did a big surprise proposal. That was in 2003. We saved up our money and got married last year - been married almost a year now and known each other for 3. He used to be a pastry chef and he made our wedding cake - it was just beautiful!!

ha ha. I was standing on a street corner with 3 of my female friends waiting for him to come and buy us alcohol. (we were all underage). Then i went out with one of his friends for 3 weeks because i wanted a b/f, however i was flirting with my current b/f the whole time. That guy cheated on me, so they're not friends any more. Then went out with another one of his friends for 1 week and dumped that guy for my current b/f. We've been together for almost a year and a half, and he says he will never forget that night because he fell in love with my smile as soon as he saw me. I couldn't imagine being with any other guy now. He's the sweetest most loving romantic guy i will ever find and i have a feeling I'll be spending the rest of my life with him. True love through and through.

Via a MUSH. My boyfriend at the time hung out there and gave me the URL so I could talk to him. I made friends with a handful of people, and after that boyfriend dumped me, ended up pursuing a relationship with one of those people.
I feel compelled to point out that while I found love online, it was not through a website or service expressly dedicated to matching people, and those sites/services give me the heebie-jeebies. =)

I met him at a language course that we were both attending. I liked him in the first week, he fell in love with me in the second, we both knew we were soulmates in the third and the rest is history! We've been together ever since and we love each other very much!

My daughter who was 22 set us up on a blind date, I didn't like him at all and then 2 months later we went out again and have been together ever since (8 years).

i met mine when i was 15 at a parade in my small hometown... i had met him before that through a former flame of mine, but we never spoke, then at that parade we locked eyes and it was over!
5 years later and we still love each other as much as we did then!
