You should try making smoothies in the morning. They're thick and delicious and can be breakfast in and of themselves. Plus, by making them yourself, you control the amount of sugar and other less than healthy things in it. If you've got a blender, they're also incredibly easy to make. Just use a container of yogurt (any flavor, though vanilla usually works well so it doesn't compete with the flavors of the fruits you use. Even if you're not a huge yogurt fan, you don't really taste it-the fruits take over, and it just helps to make for a thicker consistency), any fresh fruits you like (i love making strawberry banana ones, or raspberry peach), a splash of milk, and the pulse button on your blender. Try experimenting with different fruit combinations, you can really have some fun with it.
Hope this helped!

I find the having a hot drink helps get your inside moving better. You've been fasting overnight and you system needs a jump-start. That's why we have "break - fast" in the morning.
Often, I will just have a cup of hot water. Definitely not ice water, as that can give you a belly ache if your body is not "awake" enough.
If you don't like water, try putting a bit of lemon in it. Or, how about an herbal tea?

Straight fruit juice sounds really healthy right? Because its made from fruit.. however, do you know how many apples it takes to make one 8 oz glass of apple juice? And in that process, almost all the fiber is taken out, so you are left with just the sugar part of the apple. I understand that this is good sugar and natural sugar, but it can still throw your blood sugar levels off and cause you to crash shortly there after. Try Club Soda mixed with juice. Like one ounce juice and 7 ounces soda. That way you are getting the taste of your favorite juice with out all the sugar. It will taste like one of those sparkling beverages.
All fruits and veggies are most nutritious in their natural form. Cooking, mashing, canning, or juicing them depletes the fiber content and the nutrients are lost.

I think it all depends on what you like. But I have found that the Stonyfield Farms and Yoplait Yogart drinks are both excellant and not only help my thirst but are also healthy.
I am like you-always try to eat healthy, usually only drink water, do not care for milk etc.
And I really like these things!

Orange juice is good considering it has essential vitamins in it for you to start your day. Even green tea (hot) is even better because it has antioxidants that your body needs. It also assists with weight loss. The secret of green tea lies in the fact it is rich in catechin polyphenols, particularly epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). EGCG is a powerful anti-oxidant: besides inhibiting the growth of cancer cells, it kills cancer cells without harming healthy tissue. It has also been effective in lowering LDL cholesterol levels, and inhibiting the abnormal formation of blood clots. The latter takes on added importance when you consider that thrombosis (the formation of abnormal blood clots) is the leading cause of heart attacks and stroke.

Maybe a fruit smoothie with some protein powder in it? Protein will help you last longer throughout the morning without feeling hungry again.
