you can only install windows on a mac, if you have an intel mac and if you download bootcamp from apple's website

Windows won't work. Solaris, no idea. But it already comes with a Mac OS on it anyway, so why bother?

You may need to find out the various OS is suitable for MacBook or not then you can decide to install or not.

then buy windows xp at a store
then follow the steps it gives you
