I am going to assume you have had prior abdominal surgery. It turns out that the "guts" can form adhesions with reckless abandon. I have read about adhesions so strong that they have caused strangulation of the intestines. The only way to get rid of them is to surgically remove them, but there would be no guarantee that they would not grow back, and the surgeries can be difficult to dissect away the tissues. I think a good doctor will try everything possible and use surgery as a last resort. But make sure you are seeing doctors that did not graduate at the bottom of the class, they are out there.

You've got a dilemma I've been through that same thing Doctors don't want to do surgery unless you have a complete obstruction, They all say the same thing , surgery will only cause more adhesion's and the ONLY way of finding out you've got adhesion's (if they're abdominal) is through surgery. You have to put on an act and make it excruciating (if its already not) When I get them really bad Ill set up 3 appointments with various surgeons in a week ,One might have compassion . When/If they finally do the surgery make sure that use saline/Gel or something to prevent more post surgery also I found this article about using Viox Or Celebrex also to prevent more after wards

I so understand what u r going through I had a lot of female problems in the 80's and several surgeries on my right side the pain was horriffic after going to a million different doctors what one did was put a piece of netting in so the adhesions would adhere to that instead of pulling on all else. It still hurts but not as bad get another opinion and ask questions.
will be praying for u

I would keep consulting a doctor. You may also look into alternative medicine. XanGo is a natural anti-flamitory and very well could help. Plus it is 100% fruit juice. Check out http://www.prosperyourlife.net and watch the product videos for more information

I know the kind of pain you are in - and it's horrible. Find someone who actually knows what they are doing and will help you.
