The Western nations and in particular the USA don't support Israel...they MANIPULATE Israel. What do I mean? You'll soon see that the kidnapped soldiers turn up in Iran and Israel will have no choice but to take out the nukes in order to try and get them back. Job done for the Western nations without their having to do anything. Israel and the Arabs are both being played like an accordian and had best wake up, make peace, and unite against the upcoming Christian Crusade. PEACE!

This is war and in war a lot of people get hurt and killed. You forget that they kidnapped a soldier and civilian and killed the civilian. And they did it FIRST, Israel has responded and will respond until they give the soldiers back and then Israel will go back into their own borders.. Until then!!
What about all the dead in the twin towers,. What about that???
What about the thousands that Saddam buried alive???
What about the Kurds that Saddam gassed, men, women, and children..
Since when is war pretty or do bombs ignore the civilians, And you have chosen to ignore the Israeli civilians..

first of all, the nytimes is not about reporting the news, only about getting their views across. They took one of Isreal's solider's first. 2nd, there has been fightening there for thousands of years. there will not be peace there until after the rapture, and the anti-christ comes along and makes peace there. Then he tricks people and does some really horrible things called the tribulation. Its almost scary when u read the bible, things it says are happening. Ud better be ready, it says JESUS will come like a thief in the night.
Better know ur facts, try reading Revelations in the Bible and see if it's true.

I will pray for Israel. but not because what you are saying. I pray that they come out on top. That as few of them die as possible. They are fighting terrorists. Civilians always die or get hurt in war. that is nothing that can be changed. So pray with me that Israel suffers minimal loss. none would be best. God bless Israel.

we support Israel because they are at war against terrorists. and realize that a militia does not have a headquarters or "pentagon" they hold their meetings in houses next to civilians and keep moving around. that is why civilians are dying, now look at what the Hezbollah did to Haifa.

If they believe in their Bible and I doubt they do, then they should wait for the Godly horrendous punishment for both the state of Israel "The Abomination of Desolation" and the United States "Babylon the great". Christians read and learn your Bible. Do you think God is unjust? Do you think He loves the corruptors in earth?
