Actually, neither. The King James Bible is a specific publication run. If you had asked which was better between the two as a bible, then we could answer. It's akin to asking "Which is the better Harry Potter book; Tim Robbins 'Fierce Invalids Home from Hot Climates', or Stephen Kings 'It'?"

Are there good and bad Bibles? Aren't they all the same? How many versions of the Bible are there and how they differ, and which one is the correct one and how we know? What about Judas and Barnabas?
Personally I use and prefer the holy Quran as it is the only documented preserved true word of God with only one version ever, no letter had been changed and it continues to be fresh and challenging after more than 1400 years.

King James was responsible for the of thousands of peoples death during the conversion times. The fact that he was such an avid "witch hunter" only makes me speculate that his translation of the bible is biased. Not to mention the fact that he actually translated many of the words from Hebrew incorrectly.
Not that it matters much to me..it's not to be taken literally anyways. But I guess seeing that he repented his sins before he died..all the people's deaths on his hands have been forgiven right?

none of the above The NIV is clearly the best translation from the greek and hebrew... The NIV scholars numbered in the hundreds and the KJV numbered in the 10-20... KJV is in the OLD ENGLISH language, hard to understand for today english speaking person...
