Hi. I am not into pubs or clubs, but I want to do something for my hen night. My maid of honour will be sorting it all out, but I want something really memorable, and not too expensive...any ideas folks?

HIre a cottage somewhere nice for a saturday night (or home will do if you have your own place.

Get all your girlfriends to bring 3 things(but enough for everyone).

1) All the ingredients for their favourite cocktail
2) Their favourite food
3) Their favourite beauty treatment.

Then you all take turns to 'treat' everyone else and you'll be amazed at what you learn about each other - who know shy quiet Doreen would know how to make such great screaming orgasms or that Sophie could give such fantastic foot massages!

Its a great way for girls who haven't met before to get to know each other before the wedding and you all get to have a great time without spending more than you have to. If one girl feels a bit flash she can bring the champers and the sanctuary salt scrub but if another is feeling a bit poor then she can bring gin and tonics and give everyone a manicure.

i think you should pick a theme which the bride to be is really into and then you can base everything round that. it'll only work if you put lots of effort into it.

my sister got married 2 weeks ago and for her hen party (12 girls) we had an Anne of Green Gables theme ( cause she was really into it when she was wee ) we had a weekend in a cottage and made all "prince edward island" stylee and floral and stuff. v twee. Made her dress up a la Anne with red pigtails etc... did a treasure hunt, went to a posh fish restaurant, did a bit of late night elderflower wine drinking and manicuring in the house... nice

for my hen party (it was a younger set ) we went to Glasgow (Scotland) which was excellent and had a pirate theme. we had to wear eyepatches, stripy stuff and shorts, v chic. shopping and spa-ing and then a spot of clubbing. they took my parrot off me in the club though.

doesn't need to be expensive - don't let yourself be conned by the all-in-one package deal people... just needs a bit of imagination!

Why not go down to the sea side and find some nice place we you and the girlies can sit and have a BBQ and chill out for the afternoon in to the evening. This way you could watch the sun set sipping on a lovely cool drink. Or you could go to the opera house to watch a good play. You could all go for a nice meal and off to the opera house. Hope i have helped in some way. Good luck and have a great night

First, I would contact all of the guest to see what they reasonably can afford. Not many people can up and take off for a weekend and spend hundreds of dollars doing so, especially if they are already in the wedding party and spending a pocket book full of money.

go to Amsterdam on the ferry, overnight on the ferry getting drunk. Day in Amsterdam getting drunk and get some toys for back home. Can't beat a good old stag or hen night.

I'm planning to go out for a meal with my friends and the female members of my family. Each person will pay for their own meal though.

why not have a remininscence party to reflect you through the years from the first time you met, to the engagement, to all this wedding stuff. you can have a good time with your girls and still keep it cheap and memorable.-good luck and congrats

spas are great. To keep the price down you could just do manis or pedis. Brunches are also always great - especially when mimosas and bellinis are involved!
