Yup.

No clue as to what the real world is like so you decide that you do not like the people who protect you from that harsh reality.

Too Harsh??? You never said what army you don't like.. If you are talking about the Hezbollah and other Islamic terrorists armies then yes I agree with you.....

If you are talking about the US Army and other branches, then it is actually pretty sad what you said

The army keeps Americans free so YOU can criticize everything about this country.. YOU can HATE this country all you want, live here as long as you want, receive all the benefits, and get as rich, well maybe not you, you look pretty dumb as evidence by your spelling, so you won't make any money except to flip burgers...

By the way I was in the Marines and I never murdered anyone.. but I kept you free to open up your mouth and allowed you to spew Hatred for me..

Do you actually know any military people? If so, how many have tried to kill you?

Every country has soldiers. It's a fact of humanity. If we didn't have soldiers, then other countries' soldiers would be coming in to our country and taking over, and possibly killing you or people you love in the process.

Soldiers are trained to be killers, not murderers. It would behoove you to learn the difference. We are also trained to be much more than that.

Freedom has a price, and every freedom you enjoy today was bought and paid for with the blood of American soldiers.

Modern day soldiers are quite often the most polite, professional, respectful people you would want to meet. They are in demand by employers for their discipline, leadership skills, and decision-making ability.

They train them to protect the country. How they turn out or use the training has nothing to do with the army or any other military branch.
So yes too harsh

Way too harsh.
A large number of people in the military have nothing to do with weapons.
They are mechanics, cooks, paper shufflers, medical personnel, gofers.
I qualified on m-16 in Air Force boot camp.
Later I did ten years in USCG.
Shot 45 a couple of times but never qualified on that.
Mostly I worked Morse Code and stood radio and quarterdeck watches.
And got drunk in EM club and civilian bars.

That is very harsh. Soldiers aren't murderers. War is sometimes necessary, and we must have defenders for our country.

If you don't like anything to do with the army, imagine what would happen if we didn't have one.

Whould you rather that we didn't have an army?? Then the terrorists or any country could come in and commit genocide, rape and pilage, enslave our people, and more than likely we would still be under Britians control without an army.

God Bless America and Support our Troops in Iraq

I like seeing comments like this, cause then I get to remind people that without me and my friends defending this country and putting our lives on the line, you would not have the right to say such things. In some countries they would murder you for speaking bad about the government. So maybe we are not so bad after all. And know this, those people you are talking bad about, they don't have the same rights you do. So show some respect.

everyone is entitled to their opinion, even showing prejudice to a group or affiliation of people is allowed. But, since I am in the Army and am not a murderer I have to disagree with you.
Your right to be a bigoted hater, by the way, has been given to you and protected for you over the last 200 years by these brave men and women.
you are welcome

They are trained in combat and survival. It's part of the job and their obligation. I'm thankful we have men and women willing to make the sacrifices of leaving their homes and families to defend our rights and our country.
