Basically a recipe is used as guidance. There are some key ingredients, like in guacamole - avocados - but everything else is up to you. If you don't like tomatoes, don't use them!

If you want the red color, use a substitute like chopped red peppers.

Remember, a recipe is totally what you make of it.

For example,
2 avocados
1 lime (plus a little more to get the consistency right)
1 chopped garlic clove
1/4 cup chopped red pepper
salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon chopped cilantro

Mix it all up.

Recipes are total guidance and you can make one uniquely yours with a few tweaks.

Good luck!

Guacamole Recipe

Recipe Summary
Difficulty: Easy
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Yield: about 2 cups; 4 servings

2 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
4 teaspoons seeded and minced jalapeno pepper
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1 teaspoon salt
6 turns freshly ground black pepper
1/4 cup sour cream

In a bowl, mash all of the ingredients together with a fork or potato masher until thoroughly blended and somewhat chunky. Cover tightly by laying a sheet of plastic wrap directly on the surface of the guacamole and gently squeezing out any air bubbles. Seal the wrap to the edges of the bowl and refrigerate until ready to use, up to 8 hours.

Tomatoes are not an important component in Guacamole. Just use a regular recipe off the internet and leave out the tomatoes. Tomatoes really do not add any flavor to the dip.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://biturl.im/aU4qq

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

Just mash up your avacados, add about a teaspoon of milk to make it a little creamier, and a few drops of lemon juice to keep it from discoloring. Guacamole is best when all you can taste is avacado.

Tomatoes in the recipe are primarily for texture and color. All of the other ingredients overpower the taste anyway. I love tomaotes, but I can understand why your boyfriend may not like them in his Guac. Have a great day!

go to www.allrecipes.com and have a look at gucamole recipes... if you can't find out without tomatoes, then choose the one you like the sound of best and just don't put the tomatoes in! Leaving the tomatoes out won't make a difference to the finished product so don't worry about it =o)

I never put tomatoes in my quacamole. I just mash up a quacamole and sprinkle a little garlic salt on it and 1-2 tablespoons of sour cream. yum!
