I'm a secretary for a brokerage company and I literally have nothing to do for 8 hours day. So here I am. Plus you have to remember that people all around the world are able to ask and answer questions. So If someone is sitting at work at 9 in the morning with nothing to do and is on yahoo answers, there could be someone on the other side of the world with nothing better to do at 11:00 at night besides play on the internet.

So much time on our hands huh? Hmmm Well I dont have much time really because of taking care of all the things I have to do and when I have lunch at work, I like to eat my fresh sandwich and yogurt and drink my yoohoo and answer questions that are more intellectual than this one. It helps me take my mind off of things going on in my life as I sit in my office (secretary). Today you asked this question and I answered it because I want an easy two points from you. And it's not like people log on to this to answer simple questions like these everyday although it happens quite often. I answer questions that test my knowledge and stimulate my brain and help out many people who have dilemmas or even make them feel better with a simple Happy Birthday. Hm....do have enough free time to read all these answers and ask more questions like these??

It's the computer age, the computer does most of our work for us, and rather than give people more free time to let them think for themselves they have to be chained to a desk for too many hours a day, and this is just an outlet for the frustration this causes.
Or something like that anyway.

I've developed a system of earning money with very little effort. Thus I have plenty of time to spend developing my mind further.

i am a stay at home mom and i watch my daughter so there for i have all the time to answer these questions when i am not tending to her. as far as other people who are single i wonder why they do it.
