If the bible is true, then God is the most murderous being on the whole planet Earth. Also, Satan would be the greatest teacher on this planet. He gave knowledge to Adam and Eve. God seems to hate free will and knowledge. He murders people for it. Not only that, his favorite method of murder is suffocation via drowning. How barbaric for a being that can create the whole universe in 6 days...

If the bible was true then obviously the Hindus would be telling lies about their Gods. Unfortunately or rather fortunately, the bible is not true and Hindus only have one God and not many as you and others would like to believe.
Hinduism was there millions of years before Jesus walked the Earth and it still triumphs over all in this modern world and holds the answers to every single question science throws at it.

Because Hindus r telling the truth. Hinduism is our ancient connection with God. Bible has just evolved recently. We dont noe if the Bible is true. That is the case with HIndu religious leaders as well coz they misinterpret wat the vedas: the hindu scriptures say. The vedas were written in a time when man was very close to nature. The Hindus at that time had learnt to live with nature in complete harmony. Not like today when Christianity is dominating and we are moving towards a global flood. Even The Da Vinci Code proves that the base of Christianity was tried to be changed by some mean and selfish religious leaders.
Thus, I say that Hindus r telling the truth.

The Bible says that there are other gods multiple times, and doesn't call them false, just different. So how could the Hindus be lying about their gods?

Even God Himself acknowledges that there are others - and He says this quite a few times in the Bible - so how can anyone believe that there is only one god for the whole of humanity?

Maybe it's not the god or gods you follow and worship, but if the Christian God admits that other gods do exist and are valid, then why can't you? Do you not trust your god to be telling you the truth? Because that's a breach of faith if you don't.

Hindus believe each of us to be a part of God. Much like the leaves on a tree, each is a leaf, but still each leaf is undeniably the tree. Much like Christianity teaches that we are all a part of God.

You can make fun of Hindus if you want but I assure you that these people know God more completely than most of the bible thumpers that spout nonsense about God on this forum. Perhaps you should study some Hindu scripture if you intellect can handle it you will be surprised to learn that western science and theology are just now catching up to what Hindu scripture was teaching 4000 years ago. Your comment is based on ignorance if it was intended to be derogatory, as are all derogatory comments toward the faith of others.

God is certainly more pleased with the sincere prayers of a devout Hindu than he is with bigoted ravings of many whom mistakenly call them selves Christians.

Love and blessings.

The Bible is true. The hindus would be lying, if they did not believe what they are saying. The are presenting their beliefs. Actually, Hinduism IS monotheistic, but they feel that God has so many different characterisitics that He cannot be represented by one example. So, they use various representations to show the various charateristics, but it is all one God. Somewhat like the Christian Trinity, only expanded.

The Bible tells us that there are many that are called gods, but there is but one true God. The Hindus call them their gods, but they do not worship a true and living God. If there is no truth in their gods then their gods are indeed a lie. I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the father except by me! There is but one truth and that truth is Jesus Christ!

bible is meant for Christians only, Hindus do not follow bible and they have the right to live according to their religious belief. Bible has nothing to do with Hindus, it is only for Christians. Hindus believe in Geeta and live according to that. The matter of concern is not lying, to keep your faith and to respect the other's faith. You can believe in your religion but you are not supposed to question the belief of others in a civilized society. So believe in your religion and try to respect other religions or atleast do not disrespect other religions.

No. Faith is personal, and no amount of religious banter can change this. I don't call the Creator 'God' for a reason; it's to general, and you don't maybe 'God' is Zeus. I mean no disrespect, but just because you believe one thing, and so do many other people around the world that dose not make it is the absolute truth about everything.

Blessed Be (it means the same thing as God Bless)

NO! Lies are intended to deceive. Hindus sincerely believe their faith. The Bible is correct about salvation, so Catholics say that Hindus are in error, mistaken, about their metaphysics. Lying is always morally reprehensible. Being mistaken is morally reprehensible ONLY if it is willful or the result of sloth (laziness). I have known several Hindus who are much more devout than many Christians that I know. They love (agape) and, according to Jesus, thereby do the will of the Father (Mat. 25:31-46). While we humbly pray for their conversion, we also trust in God's mercy, that He will see their lives of love and desire to know the truth, and ultimately lead them to the full knowledge of His Only Begotten Son, the Crucified One, and salvation. We are to approach people of other faiths with the deep humility that comes from the knowledge that we are slaves to Christ and that our salvation is wholly dependent upon His mercy. Accusing people of other faiths of lying evidences a level of arrogance that is incompatible with salvation.
