How about this. "God" is just a figment of your imagination. "God" is what you make him/her.

I do believe there is a higher "power" or "spiritual being", but I just don't think it's what everyone thinks it is. We don't know who "God" is. All we know is what we read in books written by people just like you and me. I wonder if I wrote a book, and said "God" told me to write it; how many people would believe me and buy my book. They'd probably run around starting new churches, and stuff. People need something to believe in. They need something to look up to. They need to feel like their lives have a purpose. That they were born for a reason. That's why we've made up this "God".

You make me laugh. Is she not entitled to. How far can we go? God is not a woman and I am glad. This wrold would be a bigger mess than it already is. God does not appear to people the way he used to in the old testament. This is not the age of miracles. This is the age of faith. We have to believe in Jesus Christ and that he died on the cross for us to save us from our sins. Of course if we listen to people around us there are miracles just not the parting of the Red Sea and such. But there are miracles if you are tuned in you will hear about them. Keep listening you mnay actually hear about a miracle, like someone being healed from what the docotors say is life taking illness. Good luck

God is neither male or female. God is referred to in the masculine gender because of traditional writing. God does not appear to you in person because he is no respecter of persons, meaning that he will not violate his own rules to please you or anyone else. Entitlement has nothing to do with anything concerning God. He does manifest to you to your thoughts through the power of the Holy Spirit. If you need to communicate with God, then pray. He will answer you at the appropriate time. God hears you the first time when you pray and he understands your need. Be patient. God cannot be manipulated. Jesus loves you.

Everytime u admire something in Nature it's a prayer to The Creator: philosophically proved by a boy isolated from humanity from babyhood found on his knees, arms wide open, talking aloud to whoever made the Sunset, etc. Also makes a point about the many ancient Gods/Goddesses of Egypt/Rome/Greece being worshiped for the presence of awareness each deity holds as a character attributed by humans to them.

There were two young fish swimming along one day and they were discussing God and why He did not appere to them.About that time a larger, older, wiser fish swam by and they ask Him where God was? He said He is all around you and supplying your every need, He gives you food when you need it and oxygen etc when you need it. He keeps you warm when you are cold and He gives you coolness when you are too warm. They said thank you, and they swam off looking for it.
God never is in a state where you cannot see Him. It is your ability to see that determines the level to which he will reveal Himself to you.
Here is a hint. Start to look inward and you will have a better chance of seeing Him. He does reveal Himself in nature, and balance, and every atom in the material creation, but all of that was first manifested in the Spiritual realm and that is inside of you.

I read this book called the fifth mountain by paulo coehlo. It was amazing becasue it was about the prophet elijah and even when he rejected God, he founf that he was still being used for his purposes.

As the previous user said, it may not be that he/she isn't appearing to you, but you don't realize yet where he/she is doing so

'You See but you yet cannot Perceive'...'Her'!

God appears everyday of your life...but you are not full enough with FAITH to see 'Her'.

That smile that appeared on that small child face the last time you were depressed, it gave you 'HOPE' you did enjoy it didn't you ? And so did 'She'.

That look from the gorgeous stranger that appeared from nowhere the other day... was that not a 'CHARITABLE' act considering you were not feeling or looking so hot? 'She was smiling from above as you smiled from below.

You are not finding Him because you are not humbling yourself, acknowledging your need and truly seeking Him with all your heart and all your soul.

What you are doing is challenging Him, testing Him (which the Lord tells us we ought not do) and mocking Him. Wise up, friend. God loves all of us.

Grace and Peace to you
