My mother-in-law bought my daughter a bowl to keep at her house (plastic baby bowl). One day it ended up in my bag that I put my daughters things in and when I got home I noticed it there and left it in the bag to go back the next day.

Now we had to put another baby bowl in the bag a few weeks later because she couldnt find hers, she now keeps ours for that reason, we have had to buy more bowls andshe still goes on and on about this bloody bowl.

On sunday she asked if we had it and I said no and she then said it must be in a box in her house. Then yesterday she asked her son(my husband) if we had the bowl and he even told her know and she said exactly what she had told me on Sunday.

She said that she had to use a Vitalite tub for my daughters breakfast because she didnt know there was one in her bag.

AAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

What would you do in this situation?

this woman sounds like a fruit cake,
over a baby bowl,as if that was the only one in the world, please gf,tell her there's more at the stor and that was not the only one thats there and she shouldn't ask your hubby about things behind your back, you told her once and that should be the end of it.
wow mom-in-laws,there do they get off.
thats such a little thing to worry about.
good luck.

Buy three baby bowls and tell her these bowls are for you to use while our child is in your care. Maybe she is hurt because she bought a special bowl and you lost it. Some people are petty. Maybe she is getting Alzheimers disease.

superglue a bowl to her head.
Secretly I bet you wanna scream do I look like i'm F****** worried about the Bowl!!!!
Ok solution dunno if you are uk or not but in Tescos they do bowls you ones for outside eating or woolworths infact lots of shops do them .
In Tescos they are reduced and about 85p for about 4 bowls Just coz its a baby you don't need baby bowls just plastic buy 2 packs of them and give them to her and then she has 8 bowls if they go missing with its her fault!!
Oh if you need a suction base just realized tell her not to put in the bag she shouldn't have a need to put it in the bag.
Infact you have one at your house she has one in her house (maybe 2 seeing she's useless)and the bag gets one...
OOh its getting confusing but hope you see what i'm getting at.
As for the lost one oh don't you know your mother in law threw it in the bin and didn't realize haa haa.
Hee hee just thought of something else buy identical bowl and hide in her house for her to find lol Then she will really go nuts

Strangle her. Hahaha just kidding. I don't understand why she's so attatched to a damn bowl especially when you provide one of your own. Just ignore it. Mother-in-laws are here to make our lives difficult. Just remember her little tricks and do it to your daughter's husband when she gets older and married ;) good luck!
