It stings a bit just like any other shot, and you may have a sore arm for a day or two. Nothing terrible. Definitely not as bad as getting the disease itself would be, so just be glad that there is a shot you can get to keep you safe from it!!!

I disagree with the other two answers. The tetanus shot does not hurt at all, apart from the usual prick. I have never heard of muscles going sore after one of these. Have had several myself and my children too.

I just had one in the last month.

Your arm will be sore for the next few days.

The shot itself does not really hurt that much, tho... no more than any shot.

style of like flu pictures. they're major. Get it. it is going to probably be a booster because you maximum probably had the unique as DPT once you've been small. i'm getting a booster about each 5 years or so by using how i imagine this question is indexed interior the incorrect class

Yes, it does, but the real pain is after. Your muscle is going to be sore for a few days.

Yeah, it hurts, but it's better than getting tetanus.

oh my god mine was SOOOOO painful i still have the scar! thats one shot i will never ever forget!
