Definitely a hassle, but worth it. You'll probably have to file 3 before they start paying you what you deserve... possibly more. Don't worry though- everyone has to go through it. It can take a long time, but once you're finally in the system you'll get better care, and compensation.

The best things to do when you are filing a VA claim is to work with the American Legion. I did, and I have to tell you taht it helped a lot. They help you to work through what ever problems you may have. It took me one year from start to finish to get everything done, but I didn't have to do as much as some cause I used them.

you can actually do it online......va.gov not too bad at all.
