I am not a virgin but my current girlfriend is. She decided she wanted to wait until marriage to have sex and I went along with the agreement. She said by doing this I could "purify" myself so it will be like I never had sex before. What is the word for this?

Chasity!

But, as with most things in life, once you are not a virgin you can never take it back. While is is very good that you have taken this stance it is also of very little importance.

It will be very hard to find a man who cares so the only thing you have to concern yourself with is your self esteem. You vowed you would do this and you did it. And yes, to a degree you saved yourself for your future husband.

But most important of all is that when you wed, you will know that you are not giving your husband a disease you may have picked up from your other lovers. That is priceless!

Born Again Virgin

Re-virginating. It's actually become a new trend - quite a lot has been written about it these days, which is probably where she got her information from. She should be glad you've had a little experience so you won't fumble or be awkward. You can ease her into the pleasures of physical married love without problems. Congratulations & have fun!!

You can't purify yourself, and it won't be like you never had sex before, whats done is done you can't change the past. It is just something your gf said to make herself feel better.

It's called renewed abstinence, which means you decide to save yourself for marriage, yet you're not pure. I respect you, I'm part of TLW or true love waits. Way to go! :)

Impossible. Once you've had sex you can never be a virgin again. Sorry.
