I remeber the Grail legends, I just can't remeber all of it. Is it just the Grail it self that has the curative properties or can it be a liquid that came from it that has the properties. Please no smart remarks (i.e. its a myth, not true, calling this question silly...) I would perfer honest and sincere answers.

And please no internet sources, as I have checked most of them anyway.

To those of you who think that I have read the Davinci Code or have seen the movie, I have not. Also, my faith in what I believe, is between me and the Divine. If I decide to search for mysteries of the earth and heaven, I will do so. Whether it is the Grail, the Shroud, Atlantis, the Spear, the Cauldron of Cerridwen...I will search for the knowledge hidden inbehind each one. I do not prostylize when I answer questions, please do the same for me. Also...I wanted serious questions, not BS, like the Cuervo remark, that was an insult to me.

A grail is a vessel. You carry things in a vessel. Therefore I believe it is a method that carries the knowledge of the True God to you, no matter what form it takes.
As far as the cup legends, I think it healed all wounds and gave immortality to those who drank from it.

The "Holy Grail" does not carry any miraculous properties. It is simply an artifact that has very significant historical value to Christians.

The grail was a cup (probably nothing fancy, not a golden chalice studded with jewels) that Jesus drank from when he told his disciples of his coming death and resurrection.

Jesus never bestowed special powers or properties on the cup. It was simply used as an object lesson for his followers to understand what was coming. It probably wasn't even his cup, because he wasn't staying in his own home during the "Last Supper."

Somehow, I doubt that even if the grail still exists and is found, that it will be recognizable from any other cup.

It is indeed the satans purpose to keep us all interested in frivolous things that look like ""big stuff"" - such as the Vail or Turin, Codes, the Grail!

ANYTHING to keep our eyes off JESUS/GOD.

Your Q is NOT silly at all.
Hollywood and the Book industry work VERY HARD to promote interest in such things..it makes them MONEY!

I thought the grail itself had the properties. There's also the thing about how touching it is like the best thing you've ever felt or something. (You can see how wonderful my memory is.) I wish I could have helped more.

According to one of the Indiana Jones movies, those who drink from it don't die.
