Also I want to know if braces can be used only at a particular age otherwise the teeth it supports would get weak...

Braces will do the trick... worked for me.
They'll work for any age.

Use braces; they can be used at any age (although the older you are, the longer you'll need them to adjust the gap). But for young children gaps usually close up by themselves because their teeth are still growing.

you will have to get braces... and there is no particualr age... both my mother and myself at one time had a gap between our front two teeth because of a muscle that wnt between and both of us had it removed and got braces...

The muscle there has to be clipped and then braces.

My husband had this done.

It came back.

He got braces AGAIN.

It came back.

He got braces AGAIN.

It came back

It's still there (and one of the many, many reasons I fell for him)!
