I was not going to answer your question, then I saw you user name, dedwood, does that speak more of your soul or just you in general? Any sex outside of marriage is wrong in the eyes of God. Anal sex is definitley bad and if you don't believe me ask the survivors of Sodom and Gomorah. Oh theres no one left you say. NOt my problem, I guess that should send you a loud message.

Anal sex appears to be very enjoyablebased on the responses had so far; however, Romans 1: 21-27 seems to imply that all sexual perversions is sin. I also don't believe it is a safe sex measure (unhealthy?) Remember, the anus is used for excreta.

And too, I believe that anal sex encourages homosexuality, because after all it's a man behind the bottom. It's his way of bringing his homosexuality into your heterosexual union.

Let's be careful. The judgements of God will be unleashed according to the above text and no wonder why we have HIV/AIDS, a deadly unstoppable STD.

Finally, if you research the topic at Wikipedia you will also find that though anal sex may be pleasurable there are some SERIOUS concerns for intercourse.

I don't think there is anything wrong with anal sex, except that sometimes it hurts :)

That is ridiculous to think that a 'real' Christian would not want to have any sex. 'Real' Christians realize that yes they will want to do it, but through God's grace will sinful thoughts be forgiven. They might even still do it. It is all about grace. It is blasphemous to think you can do it all on your own, because you most likely can't.

The bible doesn't specially mentioned the words "anal sex", however, it does condemn individuals that practice things unnatural, in regards to sex with your partner. Romans 1:26-27 (New International Version)

"Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion."

Also Jude 7 says... Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion.

Sodom is the root word for Sodomy, which according to the dictionary: "Any of various forms of sexual intercourse held to be unnatural or abnormal, especially anal intercourse or bestiality."

And we know that God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. So anal sex, is something that true Christians would avoid.

Other than the intense pain involved?
Nothing.
If you are a man and a woman in a committed marriage relationship, there is nothing forbidden. Unless it causes permanent damage--God might have a problem with that. But why would a loving husband wish to inflict pain on his wife? Or (God help me), vice versa?
I doubt there is much sodomy going on in Christian marriages.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with anal sex;it's a part of sexual love and is not as unnatural as some people think.

Although there's no biblical injunction against it, my guess is that most Christian couples don't practice it. I once heard a Christian teacher observe that, unlike animals, people were created to face each other during sex as a matter of special intimacy. This may be why God created women's front private parts with more sexual stimuli than their back private parts.

I believe christians call that one "sodomy" and in their little book it's a big no-no. For the rest of us camped out in the real world, whatever floats your boat... If you enjoy it, don't worry about everybody else's opinion. It's your butt...
