Depends on the question, if the person has no right to ask a question of you that's personal or one you deem intrusive then yes. But if it's about a boyfriend or friend then they should tell you the answers, but you should also now the boundaries of what you can ask and how far you can go with the question.

I'll be hypocrite, if i'd say no! Yeah, i sometimes keep mum on certain things so as not to lie. But this doesn't mean that i totally agree. Well, in reality, at times, it's really better not to talk so as not to lie. If there's a certain thing with which you can't give the true answer(for whatever reason you have), you really wish that you'd' rather not be asked about it. It goes with the other saying "less talk, less mistake."

But on the other hand, isn't it that telling lies and keeping quiet about the truth are just but the same...IT'S BEING DISHONEST AND INSINCERE, right???

Yes. No. Which is the true answer? How can you believe anything I say? Wouldn't you be less confused if you'd never asked the question in the first place? Therein lies your answer.

I do agree because if no one asks me anything, it's hard to answer and lie :) I guess I don't like lying, I prefer just not saying anything at all. My slogan: "Don't tell unless you're asked."

yes i do because sometimes you gotta lie to save face, or if someone asked you a question, and you know the answer is gonna hurt them you lie to protect their feelings....do you not?.
