No! Where do you find the ten commanents? In Exodus (Old Testament), Gen. 1:1 says : In the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth.
It tells us things that Christ said.
Let me answer your question with a question "Are you saying that churches should be R-rated when the minister gives a sermon from the Old Testament" ? Also, what about some of these tv shows, that have violence & filthy language ? What about some of these songs that have "bi--h" and other words? (I think you know what the blanks are).
If about 1/2 of the Bible is filth, this attentenion should be taken up with all the churches & law makers in the world.

I desire I had study it faster and popular what God became attempting to assert. Romans 3:4 is an truly exciting line - there are parts in there that are not rated "r" as you may say in case you understand the bible properly you could attempt to bypass over parts yet make positive your toddlers understand this line Matthew 4:4 "[4] yet he responded and stated, it truly is written, guy shall no longer stay by technique of bread on my own, yet by technique of each and every be conscious that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." tell them even as they're older they could study particular different parts yet in the journey that they arrive to attraction to close it faster i doesn't get bent off sort a minimum of they don't look to be in gangs or worse.

There is sex and violence but nothing gratuitous about it. Everything in the Bible is there to teach us how to live (and sometimes how not to live).

God wants sex to be ae beautiful thing, not something to be abused and thought of as horrible. of course he doesnt want you to go out and do it with everyone you think you love, save it for marriage.
But to answer you question I say no. God uses it as a lesson, not a thought or a "go out and do this". he uses it to show us the world and how horrible it is. He is teaching us. do you think God could teach us about all that stuff by not telling us about the bad stuff about it? no way! The bible is a book of learning and life. God is perfect and would never mean to give you the wrong image or thought. Trust in God and pray to Him that he would help you understand things like that better!

Um, well, I don't think it matters. I had no clue what the hell "semen" was when I read the Bible (age 6), I asked my mother (eek), and she was like "well, it's this... liquid that makes the babies."

I had no idea what she was talking about.

By the time I finally found out what "semen" was, I was watching R-rated movies anyways.

Absolutely. THere is more porno in OT than in any XXX magazine. Plus OT propagate rape.
"If a betrothed virgin is raped in the city and doesn't cry out loud enough, then "the men of the city shall stone her to death." (Deuteronomy)

First you rape than you kill the victim . What can be more pleased for god?

I'm religious, and I agree with you. Some parts of the bible should not be taught to children.
