I call that a case of willful ignorance.
Yes, very disturbing that 1 billion people are following a bunch of ignorant clerics ... No wonder they want to blow up the world!

no of course but in order to be a Muslim cleric they should get graduate form college that study Islamic religion and in these colleges they read books beside the Koran because Islam is not only Koran, the Koran is one part of five pillars of Islam and in college they study Islamic history and they study the bible the new testimony and old testimony and science. they are quite educated very fine.

I wasn't aware of it. But then, I think that this is quiet ok. The Koran is their book, so they need to know that one really good. I would be more troubled if the read anything but. Indeed, I have heard rumours that a lot of people citing the Koran never read it to start with. They only reapet hear-say. So good someone reads it.

i am sorry , but its clear that you don't read & you are extremely uneducated !
if you try to read more & explore other cultures you will be ashamed of what you are saying ....
if you read some books about islam , you will find that it is not possible for any muslim to understand holy Qura'an without reading other books...
in fact , you need to read about all subjects to understand qura'an..
i suppose you dont know what is Qura'an, & u dont know that there is scinece in Qura'an...
i am an architect, & i read so many books , arabic & english , & i still have to read so much more to really understand Qura'an...
i wish if you read at least one page about islam before talking like that... & hurting other people....
i suggest that you read at least one book for a muslim cleric ( such as Amr Khalid ) !

do you really think that muslims are going to take the word of the torah and the bible knowing these things exist in them. the bible is clearly a corrupt set of writtings written by man and is not the word of god. further more christians do not read the quran. at least they would know how to spell it correctly. i challenge you to find one incosistency in the quran. find one verse that contridicts the other then have the will power to answer the reply. ahmad deedat a famous muslim scholar challenged christians and jews, as well as hindus and many other religions in famous deabates and wipped the floor with the chrisitans and jews with their own book. this muslim scholar knows the bible and the torah as well as the quran from front to back word for word. the man who wrote the book the worlds greatest religions studied all the religions world wide was a christian after learning of islam he now prays to allah 5 times a day. know your acts about religion before you judge prematurly. good day to you

How many fanatic Christians have read anything other than the New Testament? Ye's it's disturbing that they're so narrow minded and have generally refused to LEARN about other faith's cultures. PEACE!

I don't know that your statement is indeed a fact, but if it were true, I'd respond that I find it sad and disturbing that anyone would so limit their experience of literature, the collected hard-earned knowledge of centuries, and the diversity of human culture.

Muslims HAVE read other books, man,y many muslims have read and understood the bible, etc. Our religion TELLS us to find out and undertsnad other religions..
PLEASE, don't post questions like that without knowing the truth...

actually sir we are required to believe in the Enjiel (the true pure Bible of God that came down on Jesus).
and just to let u know, i do have Bible (the bible of today) at home, and i read it. truly Islam is the religion of God, all evidences proves it.
