If I actually heard voices from God telling me to commit suicide, I'd likely sh!t my pants and have a heart attack. That should take care of the suicide for me.

No. Would tell God in that personification that unfortunatly he took the wrong path. Him being God, no matter in which form, I would kindly redirect him to the proper recipient of that command, down the Muslim line of belief. And then I would urgently call God back in my personification style to make sure he stops the guy that the other side of God was calling for.

No, because God wouldn't ask that. God asks for obedience, and that might lead to martyrdom, but flat out suicide? Not so much. God isn't about destruction - God is about creation.

What an interesting dilemma. God commanded us to NOT kill but He also expects us to be obedient. Which is more important, follow the ten commandments or follow His command of the day? I think it would be really sad that I would finally get to hear the voice of God and He would be telling me to kill myself. Even though I consider myself faithful, I'm afraid that if I did hear a voice commanding me to kill myself, I'd probably call my psychiatrist again!

God will never tell anyone to commit suicide. If you hear that suicide voice in your head, then it is the devil that is speaking to you. The devil is pure evil and he wants you dead. Jesus loves you and he wants you to live with him eternally, not boil in the lake of fire with the devil. Jesus wants you alive and productive. He wants you to grow spiritually and to fellowship with him in Bible study and meditation. Live for Jesus---he is the only person that is worth living for because he will never fail you.

First of all, how would I know if it is truly God?
It could be the devil playing a trick.. Why would God do that anyways? I mean, if He wanted you to die, something could happen to you and then you might die..
