Yoga wasn't meant to lose weight, it was created and developed to keep your body healthy and working properly. However, if you practice it long enough (along with eating right and all that crap) your body might not get all skinny, but it'll lose anything extra, I suppose. This method will take a while, so I don't recommend it to be used as means to lose weight. How old are you? You don't seem to be able to spell "is" or "lose" properly. If you're not old enough to spell those two words correctly, you shouldn't worry about losing weight yet. I'm just saying, to be so obsessed with your weight isn't healthy either. You should strive to have a balanced body, not a thin one. All the fxcking girls in Korea are still 100 pounds when they're 25 years old. The guys are, like, 120 pounds or so, and 130, 140 pounds is what guys consider "fat". I'm like, "zomgg, wtfattack??!" And, uh, yeah... It's very unhealthy, I kinda want to slap them right now...

Yoga is wonderful for relaxation and stretching, but not much good for weight loss. It is not aerobic, nor particularly like strength training.
