As a professional in management I would choose something that I feel at easy doing. Mainly because when you know your business you feel more accomplished at the end of the day, and also more productive and your boss will be pleased with your work. After all you will be spending more hours at work than doing anything else. Good hunting!

Since I chose a career with an excellent income many decades ago, I can say that I really, really wish I had instead chosen something I like doing.

Having said that, though, there are two things to keep in mind. One is that you can learn to like almost any job if you keep your mind open. The other is that every job, no matter how wonderful you think it will be, has its bad points and terrible moments.

In becoming a teacher, I knew I would never be wealthy, but there are "costs" that go along with other jobs that I wasn't willing to pay. As a teacher, I have off summers, weekends, and holidays, and now that I am in the point in my life when I am going to have a family, that is invaluable. Not only do I enjoy my job, but I feel I have secured my future in a way that wouldn't be possible in a lot of other careers.

I would choose a job that I loved that offered a pretty good income. I maybe would do the job I hated that made me excellent money for a little while and pay off bills and save up and then I would quit.

the income first!

Once I'm more-than-comfortable, I'll relax and do what I "love"
But believe me, once you start working and realize you can afford what ever your heart desires, you'll have a change of heart.

Yes, it is important to do things that are fulfilling, but you know what? there is fulfillment in all we do! we just have to look at it from a "better" angle.

Life is too hard these days to pass out on good chances. And who knows... w/ the money, you might wind up doing other things that you love, or helping from a different stand point (donation, volunteering- since you don't have to work extra to make ends meet, and such.)

good luck!

I would choose the job I love doing because if I'm interested in it I would certainly find a way to improve it and earn more from it and I wouldn't have tiring stress on me because I wolud enjoy it n there wouldn't be any boring tasks

follow your dreams. That is what I did and in the end it starting paying excellent. I stoped working for the man and started my own business, and I am glad I did. Now I get paid to do what I love to do.

I choose the money, because I want to have kids, and I need money if I want them to have what they need.
My job is not the most interesting, it's just ok, but at least, with the money I earn, I can travel often to different countries, I can take piano lesson, I can rent a nice appartment... that's important too for me.

I would definately rather have a job I enjoy. Money does not make me happy, but I am in the process of getting my degree so I can have both.
