I'm a christian but I want to know. Why does God, allow pointless murders, tragic deaths, terroism, and all other bad things? What reason in there is that?

Human beings, whether Christian or not, have struggled with this question for centuries. What we don't understand is that we are incapable of seeing the Big Picture of Life. We see only the past and present, we don't see the future like God does. We also don't understand His will and His ways or His timing. For His timing and our timing are not the same; His will and our will are not the same; His desires for us and our desires for us are not the same; His reasons for doing things are beyond our understanding.

Perhaps God is using these situations to test the faith of His believers. Or maybe He is allowing these situations to open the eyes of the unfaithful or non believer. No one knows why God does what He does. I believe that no one on earth is to know the purpose of Him yet. I believe that God will reveal this knowledge to us when we are in Heaven.

Try not to concern yourself as to the "why's" in life. Just continue to believe in God and follow Him to the best of your ability. Try to do good works also and give all the glory and praise to Him each day.

Our life on earth is not easy, the path to Heaven is narrow and rocky. But the path to Hell is wide and smooth. Don't allow Satan to destroy your faith in God.

May God Bless you now and always.

Unfortunately, you can never get a true and correct answer for this question in your bible or from a christian point of view. If you are an open minded person then take note.

Cause and effect are the reasons for everything that happens in this world. Reincarnation and karma best describes this for you are always responsible for your actions which comes back at you if not in this life then in another. Thus the less fortunate and the fortunate, each reaping what they sowed sometime or life ago.

There can be no other logical answer that would better explain our fortunes and misfortunes.

Humans have free will - and every person alive made the choice to become incarnate and to develop and grow as a separate human being - without divine intervention. What most humans don't realize is that we are all part of the same source, the same cosmos, which is God. Not the biblical 'God' which is a patchwork of superstitions and senseless dogma, but the true God. When we reach a point in our experiences when we can recognize God in everything and everyone (including ourselves), when we can understand the profound responsibility we collectively have for one another and the world in which we live, then we can begin to change the world. We're a long way from that, however, and as long as we "blame" 'God' or 'Satan' for the things for which we ourselves are responsible, we continue to live in dark confusion.

You have to understand Satan rules the world so he has the power to to do all the bad things (John 10:10). But once you become a "born again" christian, then you are rescued from Satan's dominion so he can't inflict you with bad things (Colosians 1:13). You also have the power to overcome or prevent all the works of Satan (Luke 10:19) if you choose to exercise that power Christ gave you. So all of us Christians can pray to stop the devil (Satan) from carrying out his activities. That is why there is the need to preach the gospel of Christ so that there will be more committed Christians who will pray to stop these bad things. Also it is very unlikely for someone who is a committed Christians to commit some of these bad things you talked about.

There isn't any global reason to all these things, there are just a bunch of local unrelated reasons.

God allows these things because he doesn't exist. Free will does not resolve the problem, as many of the biggest tragedies are accidents or acts of nature. Sin does not resolve it either, because there would be no sin even if we had free will, unless we also had a sin nature, which god would have to have given to us.

I don't know about God, But i do know that everything has a purpose. Sometimes things happen in the present that are bad, but down the road they will make us stronger to take on something in the future.

Probably because not EVERYTHING happens for a reason. I do NOT buy into that rationale. It's just used as a pacifier to continue believing in religion of God without blaming him for all of the injustices in life.

It's unfair to blame God for anything because God doesn't exist. God is for the gullible, weak minded and ignorant. You have only to look through the questions here to see how true that is.

1st question: The Universe is perfect.
2nd question: Man has free will / free choice, so man decides what happens, so it is not what God allows, God has nothing to do with it.
