how to join, what it would mean, what opportunities might be open, ect. I want to study psycology, and I was also wondering what options there might be in the marines, specifically.

The Marines would be great but also a chalenge. If you were looking for an easier time, and I am guessing you aren't by looking at your first choice, I would have to say Airforce. The living quarters are better the food is better and the testosterone levels are not as amped up so it is more accepting of women. The Army has a great education program in the Army College Fund which is a kiker to the GI Bill. And some states willl pay 100% of your college in the National Guard but I would highly recomend a stint in the active service. The Army is also the only Branch that will guarentee your Job the Marines are good to by telling you at least what feild you will work in.

The main theing, and I don't want to discurage you, is that the military can be harsh to females. There aren't many open minded type of guys like my serving (LOL). If you are nice to guys and just generaly freindly some guys will just asume, wrongly, that you are a sl*t. And if you are about doing your job well they will assume, wrongly again, that you are a b**th. but like I said thre are at least a few uf us openminded guys that just see you as a either I nice person or a dillegent worker. But either way when your fellow service men get to know you they will treat you with respect. What you put into the time in the military is what you are going to get out. Keep your head up and realize that not everybody can do the stuff you are doing. I hope that helped at least a little bit good luck with your plans.

There are many jobs in all branches of the Military. First know that if you have not been to college, but want to go, you can ask the Army to educate you, and they will as long as you are willing to serve for 5 years after you finish school. As a Psychologist you can get into different fields, PSY OPS, learning how to read people, Psychology, working in the hospital, and counseling. Talk to an Officer Recruiter not a regular recruiter, cause only Recruiters for Officers can get you into the program from what I remember.

How stupid would you have to be to want to join any military controlled by the idiot currently sitting in the White House? You would be better off emptying bedpans in a AIDS hospital.
