Based on awkward interpretations of some very odd imagery in just a very few Christian texts, there is a belief that someone going about calling himself the Jewish Messiah will actually be the anti-christ. This is probably what you've heard. I'll just say that there are definitely other ways to interpret the texts.
Some of the Christian ideas about the anti-christ come from some equally bizarre images in the Book of Daniel, which is Jewish. Daniel writes about a 'beast' and general Jewish and scholarly concensus is that Daniel's imagery is all metaphor for the political situation around the Babylonian exile; Daniel's beast had already come and gone.
There was an idea of an anti-Messiah floating about a long time ago, before the Middle Ages I think, when there were efforts to reconcile Muslim and Jewish beliefs. It hasn't been retained and I think most Jews would be surprised to find out that it was there at all.
