18-60 only. After 60 you must take a driving test every 6 months to keep your license.

Age does not guarantee maturity. Why not 21? Or 24? Maybe maturity isn't until 30?
If the person can pass the drivers tests (written and driving) then they should be able to drive.

here in the UK it's 17. i think it's reasonable... you cant say 16 is not mature enough, when i know several people well into their 20s who are more immature than me, and im only 19. being young doesnt make you a bad driver, its inexperience that makes a bad driver. ya cna pass a test at 30, and still have accidents if you dont have good experience under your belt.
what has gas prices got to do with anything? if theyre paying themselves who cares.

It only depends on the individual. You can't just say that "a 16 year old is too immature to drive." If the 16 year old is too immature, he/she wouldn't be allowed to drive because their parents wouldn't let them. Parents would allow their 16 year old to drive only if they are mature. It is only up to the parents at age 16 and 17.

I disagree. There are many people who are mature enough to drive at the age of 16.
And if it is about money and number of cars then: Why don't you people use the bus? It's cheaper and it uses less gas than all of your cars.

I know in PA they have changed the law. You have to be at least 16 to get your permit. You have to have 6 months and 50 hours of recorded driving before you can get your Junior license (you are not allowed to drive after a certain hour of the night). I think this is good. My son is getting his license as soon as he can so he will have at least 2 years of supervised driving before he is out on his own. He will not have free reign of the car.

I agree. I also think the drinking age should be 16 because then teens could experiment with alcohol and know their limits before they learn to drive.

I totally agree, so many irresponsible teens have lost their lives for no reason at all, showing off, driving recklessly. They should increase the driving age to when a person is more responsible.

Absolutely! People don't know how to drive, it would help if you didn't get a license until you're 18, when you're a little more mature and an adult.

I am 16 and I even agree...I absolutely dread the idea of driving, especiallly amongst my peers. I hear them all the time, saying how fast they drove or how wasted they were the night before while driving...it scares the hell out of me.
