The only problem with the warning label that the rechargeable batteries come with instructing you to dispose of them safely, doesn't tell you where to get rid of them. There are NO convenient places in the city to drop them off, so most people just dump them in with the regular trash. It isn't right, but they don't know of any other way to get rid of them.

whilst that occurs to me on the shop, I disguise the section with Coke Cola, and then take a scrubbing broom (surely is a broom with the bristles decrease down so thier very stiff), scrubb it in, and then take a container of baking soda and canopy the comparable section, the Coke will soak up into the baking soda, and could be waiting to be swept up (reckoning on how plenty Coke replace into used, and how plenty baking soda replace into used) and then could be correct disposed of. while you're useing only Coke, do no longer enable it run into the streets or sewer structures, as battery acid is somewhat dangerious, after it is been diluted with Coke, the very least you're able to do is disguise the section with "floor Dry" or sawdust or somethign what is going to soak up the coke and battery acid, then place in a plastic bag and correct remove it. Be carful around it, as battery acid can depart some very nasty burns.

If you are in England then your local tip has a special section for all types of batteries including car batteries.
Don't put them in your bin or on the fire.

Lets see, the easiest would be a trash can. Or you can find a gutter and throw it in a drain, you could bury um in the ground, I wouldn't recommend digestion(but feel free to try if you like), you can set them on fire, throw them in the ocean. These are a few ideas, i hope you tree huggers love um.

your local tip/rubbish dump will have a place specifically for used batteries. But I just chuck mine in the bin!
Try ringing your Council to ask them.
