What did Henry Ford pay his worker per day that worked for him on the assembly line in his automobile company?

I'm not sure of the year but old Hank was the first to pay
the whopping sum of $5/day.

if you find the original sale value of a ford of that era, do the math on it (divide that price by a year, or 365 days). that will give you the cost of that vehicle per day. also, that will give you a general idea of how much his workers earned, as he said, " any man with a decent salary can afford one of my cars" or something to that extent. i know i would pay my workers enough to be able to afford the car they're building....it's good advertising and a show of loyalty when your employees buy what you make and sell.

honestly? exactly? who knows? maybe if you look for relatives of those who used to work for henry ford, maybe they will have heard stories
