Well if you read your Bible, you may as well kill your adversaries. Might as well do as God did. Even Jesus said, "I did not come to bring peace, but a sword".
Kill your adversary they are the devil.

the devil is of this world, which we live in but are not supposed to take part in. you said it yourself...be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. if you succumb to the devil. you are lost, and left alone by the devil. he will no longer harrass you with problems to try to weaken you because he already has you. you are in his pocket, or hell when you die. in this world we are faced with what to do, the right thing, or the easy thing. it's your personal test. take the easy way out and quit getting tempted by the devil, or keep getting harrassed by him because you will not give up your faith.

Yes he is - and he uses people like Jim Darwin and they are completely oblivious to any possibility this could be the case. They believe their unexplainable hatred of anything related to a single universal God is just intelligent intellectual reason.
From a logical standpoint - if it were simply logic and there is no God then it would not be worth one's time to go harass people who do believe. Its the demonic influence that seizes their hearts and drives them on a personal crusade to harass believers.

The "Adversary" is just another name for the Devil. It is not saying that anyone who is against you is the Devil.
