The first thing they want is a MAGIC WAND so they don't actually have to DO anything about their animal.
They have absolutely NO concept of dogs as being CARNIVOROUS ANIMALS. NOT born being perfect house pets.

They want to be "cootchie-cooed" along intead of TOLD to get off the keyboard & WORK at TEACHING this animal to behave.

If you were stumbling along in the dark & somebody KNOWS that you're about to step off a cliff, would you rather -
A= Have that person holler," LOOK OUT!! STOP NOW!!"
OR
B= hear a polite little throat clearing,a "Pardon me ma'am,uh...not to interupt your stroll but...uh...there appears to be,if you don't mind my saying so...oooooops....never mind. Sorry...are you OK??"

C= "No,mate. No cliffs around here that I know of.'Course, I'm blind & don't live anywhere NEAR this area & couldn't find my behind w/ a map & both hands"

Classic GitEmGang And on the mark as usual. Most only hear what they want the answer to be even when the truth is slappin` them in the face! FACTS ?!?!!??!!? They don`t need no stinkin` facts! Trebobagrom just sent me an e-mail. She thinks I`m in cahoots with Gang because I agree with him. Trebobagrom ? Isn`t that a new 'designer dog" mutt?

Couldn't agree more, it is very hard to decide what is said "in fun" "not serious" "just joking" in this format.

Also everyone wants some else to blame for everything! Not just their dog problems. This is a nationwide trend that I find disturbing.

I also feel that dog ownership isn't right for everyone as it requires a lot of work. Most people don't want to work hard at anything.

Also people don't want to committ the money required for proper preventative health care for their dog.

I would like to see everyone that wants/has a dog to spend some time learning about dogs. Sounds simple but it must not be based on the questions that keep coming up.

I don't get it. But personally I'm stuck here in this office with little or nothing to do for eight hours with a one hour lunch, so what better to do than browse Yahoo! Answers, ask an occational question and answer a whole bunch? I'm sure other people are in a simular situation where they can not immediatly deal with the problem they are asking about, but they wish to obtain additional information about it. What do you think Yahoo! Answers is for? Asking for hints, tips, opinions, etc. I'll tell you what it isn't for: ranting.

LOL Getemgang!

People are much to busy shopping for new kitchen gadgets to actually spend any time working with their animals. They just want to be told "oh yes, you are right" or "you are doing SUCH a good job".

Another good question is, why do people answer questions when they obviously have NO IDEA what they are talking about. It is not at all helpful, it is hard for a questioner to sift through the answers to find the right ones, and MOST are wrong.

Forgive us, Oh mighty one, we forgot you knew just about everything. Too bad they dont give points out for being a smartass, you would be at the top of the leaderboard. Maybe your just trying to hide your ignorance by being rude. Your answers and questions show how "common" you really are, very poor taste honey.

i think i understand. you've fallen of a cliff and can't get back up, right?

but i do know what you mean - people are often here looking for a how-to guide to raising a (naturally) difficult and rambunctious animal into the "perfect house pet". it's just not feasible, particularly without knowing the animal in question (the "blind guy" situation you presented in option c)

good question (though it wasn't exactly a question) :)

Have you ever taken a Psychology course? Most people only want someone to agree with them or tell they are not bad or wrong. People who are truly interested in learning usually don't use this kind of platform.

They just want someone to pay attention to them... Everyone wants to be a star! (that IS sarcastic)A lot of people don't ask questions to get real answers, just to count answers and flirt... Forget the idiots... Peace!
