i was wondering is this would put people off going out with someone, even if the person in question is lovely, or would the lack of 'baggage' be appealing?

Not at all. Everyone experiences different types of relationships at different times. Some experience serious relationships in the late teens/ early twenties while some don't reach that until there 30s maybe even later.
It wouldn't put me off although if that person had just had a series of one night stands and not really been with someone as such. It might make me a bit wary. However, if this isn't apparent and the person is genuinely a nice person then why the hell not.

No, it's not strange. Many people in your age have never had a serious relationship (some of them, didn't have any relationship). Your attitude toward relationships in general is what is important. I'm sure you won't set anyone away by saying that. Especially, someone who likes you..

One user-friendly answer - females are a very unpredictable species! i understand this feels like a entire cliche, yet certainly, it is what's interior that counts. probably you're purely being blown off with the aid of the forms of chicks who're completely shallow, and are purely interested in who you're/what you look like before they have certainly gotten to understand you. a woman chum of mine met a guy who suits just about the comparable description which you have presented. in the commencing up she wasn't too prepared on the guy, yet with persistance any guy can wreck contained in direction of the stressful outer shell of any chick. ultimate suggestion for a guy finding for a chick for a dating or friendship or some thing - in case you maintain training what you want, you by no potential understand. ;)
